Calcined coke silos

Manufacture of two silos in Duraplate D31, overlay plate with oscillated weld beads based on chromium carbides.

Its hardness is 60 to 62 HRC and its hard phases (chromium carbides) are mainly at 1650 HV. Our plate withstands very severe abrasion, up to temperatures of 350°C.

Reliability improvement of an elbow at the crusher outlet

On a steel slag grinding installation, PRODUR completely redesigned a feed elbow particularly prone to wear and clogging.

Using 3D scanning, flow analysis and the combination of complementary materials, a new higher-performance component was designed.

Result: significant reduction of deposits, improved abrasion resistance, and increased service life.

Reliability improvement of a sorting cyclone

To limit helical wear and clogging in a glass sorting cyclone, PRODUR proposed a solution in DURSTEEL® 460, complemented by a Durplast® S lining, a sprayed anti-clogging elastomer.

This robust combination extends equipment service life, reduces cleaning operations and integrates perfectly into existing lines.

CASE STUDY

Reliability improvement of a cyclone distributor

On this mineral processing line, the distributor feeds hydrocyclones with a highly abrasive slurry. The previous rubber-lined model was wearing out too quickly.

We designed a reinforced version in Durhart® 200, a molded technical ceramic with a thickness of 25 mm.

Result:

Service life multiplied by 3
Optimized geometry to reduce tangential abrasion
No risk of tile detachment
