1974 – Savoy Découp

To meet its customers’ challenges, SD initially created a “Produr” department dedicated to wear solutions, integrating innovative materials such as ceramics, overlay plates and polymers. Driven by a profound transformation of its core business towards service and reliability, SD naturally became Produr. Building on its historical expertise in processing hardened steels, the company then took a further step by launching its own range: Dursteel.

1990 – Produr

Driven by a deep transformation of its core business toward service and reliability, SD naturally became Produr. Building on its historical expertise in processing hardened steels, the company then took a further step by launching its own range: Dursteel.

2012 – Welding Alloys

Produr joined the Welding Alloys Group, a leader in the manufacture of hardfacing cored wires and overlay plates. This integration strengthens Produr’s capabilities in terms of vertical integration and economic performance, as well as technological resources, since WA France has a metallurgy laboratory and dedicated R&D personnel.

2020 – Creusabro

In March 2020, Industeel, a subsidiary of the ArcelorMittal Group, and Produr established a partnership. Produr became the official distributor in France of high-performance abrasion resistant steels: CREUSABRO. The exclusive and patented range of abrasion resistant steels, Creusabro 4800, 8000 and Dual, joined Produr’s portfolio.

Thanks to fully controlled in-house production resources – cutting, machining, assembly, hardfacing, installation and inspection – we guarantee maximum responsiveness, complete quality control and full traceability for every production.

This integration allows us to operate across the entire cycle:
manufacture of new parts, reverse engineering, repair, reliability improvement, series production or single parts, always taking into account your operational constraints.
