Wear-resistant piping
Based on the existing dimensions of the installation and process parameters (ISO, type of wear, velocity, pH, temperature, etc.), Produr designs and manufactures all types of wear-resistant piping to replace existing piping in pneumatic, hydraulic or gas transport installations carrying abrasive materials.
All piping elements can potentially be manufactured using our materials: elbows, sleeves, Y-pieces, reducers, diaphragms, diverging sections… All diameters and all sections (rectangular, circular).
As the internal diameters are strictly maintained, Produr redesigns the fabricated shell taking into account the thickness and technology of the selected lining.
Wear-resistant materials for your piping
These pipes can be manufactured using overlay plates or overlay pipes, or using ceramic materials, which offer the advantage of being molded and fully toroidal, limiting pressure losses and flow disturbances.
PRODUR carefully manages the interface with existing piping to ensure perfect integration into the process line. A turnkey solution is systematically proposed, including gaskets, adaptation flanges and bolting.
3D SCANNING
Thanks to 3D scanning, we accurately capture the actual condition of your piping, even when it is deformed by wear or service stresses. This approach ensures faithful reproduction, perfect on-site fit and integration of the most suitable lining for your abrasion, corrosion or temperature conditions.
Adaptive piping
Wear detection
Produr offers a detection loop system integrated into the ceramic lining.
When the lining is damaged, a fault signal is emitted and can be collected either in the plant control room or on a standalone box.
Case studies: wear-resistant piping
CASE STUDY
Manufacturing of an ash reinjection piping assembly
Faced with severe tangential abrasion on an ash reinjection line, PRODUR manufactured a series of custom piping lined with Durhart® 200.
This electrofused ceramic, extremely hard (9 Mohs), offers exceptional resistance to sliding abrasion. A durable solution to reduce maintenance and secure critical installations
CASE STUDY
Upgrade of a non-return flap
For this chemical plant, our teams developed a custom non-return flap capable of withstanding severe wear in an aggressive environment.
The key: a Durzalt® 40 lining, a fused basalt with high chemical resistance, ideal for absorbing moderate impacts while reducing friction.
CASE STUDY
Upgrade of a drying duct
In the wood industry, an insulation panel manufacturer was experiencing corrosion and clogging issues on its fiber drying duct. The existing installation was made of partial 304L stainless steel and standard S235 plate, heavily stressed by heat, humidity and aluminum salts.
PRODUR proposed a complete reconstruction in DURANOX® 12, a martensitic stainless steel resistant to corrosion, designed to facilitate the sliding of impregnated fibers.
Result: a homogeneous, durable line optimized from the design stage thanks to 3D scanning.
