Durhart 200

Technical Ceramics – Electro-Fused

Durhart 200 is a high-performance electro-fused ceramic designed to withstand severe abrasion and moderate impacts.

Produced from a blend of pure oxides melted at very high temperature, it enables the manufacture of robust linings perfectly suited for sensitive areas.

It withstands highly aggressive fine particles, retains its properties up to 1500°C and remains fully stable against atmospheric agents and most chemical agents.

Durhart 200 therefore provides a reliable and durable solution for hoppers, chutes, cyclones, piping systems or crushers exposed to the most demanding wear conditions.

Manufacturing process :

Durhart 200 is produced from very pure metallic oxides melted in an electric furnace at over 1800°C.

The molten mixture is then cast into sand molds to obtain shapes with exact dimensions, perfectly suited for lining equipment exposed to wear.

Fixing method :

After fitting and positioning, Durhart 200 parts can be fixed :

using a mortar adapted to thermal or chemical conditions,
by bolting through a chamfered hole with a flexible intermediate layer,
by welding metallic inserts integrated into the part during casting.

The mortar or fixing method is selected according to the operating environment of the equipment.

Main Applications of Durhart 200

Durhart 200 is particularly suited for environments exposed to extreme abrasion and very high temperatures, especially for:

  • Crusher linings
  • Hoppers
  • Transfer chutes
  • Cyclones and hydrocyclones
  • Pneumatic or hydraulic conveying components
  • Separator cones
  • Wall and floor linings

Advantages of Choosing Durhart 200

Thanks to its Mohs 9 hardness and its very dense electro-fused structure, Durhart 200 provides exceptional resistance to sliding abrasion, even at high velocity, and remains effective up to 1500°C.

Its high chemical inertness allows long-term performance in corrosive environments without loss of efficiency.

Available as tiles, pipes, elbows or custom-made parts, it easily adapts to the geometry of the areas to be protected.

Its various fixing options (mortar, bolting or welded inserts) ensure simple and reliable integration on all types of equipment exposed to extreme wear conditions.
