DURSTEEL® abrasion resistant steels (410, 460, 510) provide a simple and reliable solution for standard parts and liners, while the higher-performance Creusabro® 4800 / 8000 steels are designed to last in more demanding environments combining abrasion and impact.

The DURAPLATE® range, with complex carbide overlays, covers a wide spectrum of severe wear. High temperatures, intense abrasive flows, shape or mass constraints: each grade (D31T, D45T, HiSPEED, D38T…) meets a specific requirement.

In areas exposed to severe sliding abrasion, particularly in piping, chutes, cyclones or hoppers, we prioritize DURHART® 200 electrofused ceramic, which provides durable protection and resistance to very high temperatures.

Reliability improvement of a suction duct

Replace or Improve? PRODUR Innovates.

Facing premature wear on a suction duct of a vertical mill, we proposed a durable alternative to simple part replication: optimized geometry and a premium material, Duraplate® D31T.

Result: greater safety, reduced maintenance, and significantly extended service life.

Reliability improvement of a cyclone cone

Originally lined with standard abrasion resistant steel, this cyclone cone was completely remanufactured by PRODUR to meet the demands of a highly abrasive environment.

To improve equipment reliability, we chose Duraplate® D31T overlay plate (thk. 5+3 mm) with uniform weld beads.

Result: service life tripled compared to the previous cone.

Protection kit for vertical mill

Manufactured from Duraplate® D45T overlay plate, this kit provides exceptional protection for the drive shafts of the rollers.

Duraplate® D45T combines very high resistance to abrasion and temperature (up to 700 °C) thanks to its complex carbide overlay, while maintaining the flexibility of its mild steel backing.

Scraper bucket kit

Facing premature wear of the buckets, PRODUR designed a removable kit combining Creusabro® 4800 (structure), Duraplate® D34T (surface reinforcement) and Dursteel® 410 overlaid with Durcor (fingers).
