Wear-resistant trommels
Repeated impacts, rotational movement and the abrasive nature of materials can lead to progressive deterioration of the trommel surface.
Our expertise in precise cutting, forming and assembly of abrasion-resistant and/or anti-clogging materials allows us to manufacture most trommels.
The steels used to manufacture your trommels must meet three essential criteria:
- High yield strength to reduce deformation
- Superior wear resistance
- Easy weldability under site conditions
Wear-resistant materials for your trommels
- Dursteel® 410 a balanced grade combining high yield strength and strong wear resistance.
- Duraplate® D45T, an overlay plate resistant to high temperatures
- Creusabro® 6400, particularly suited for screening thanks to its very favorable HAZ (Heat Affected Zone) profile
- Creusabro® 4800 – 8000, combining high yield strength and superior wear resistance thanks to the TRIP effect
In case of clogging, your screens and trommels can be coated with Durplast® S, a sprayed polymer offering dynamic wear resistance and strong anti-clogging properties.
