Effective Wear Resistant Materials for Public Works
For public works applications such as buckets, liners, skips, rippers or blades, we prioritize two major families of proven steels: standard abrasion resistant steels and high-performance delayed work hardening steels.
The Dursteel® range includes quenched abrasion resistant steels, available in 400, 450 and 500 HB to cover moderate to severe wear levels. Dursteel® Tuffplate is suited for severe impact applications requiring high toughness, while Dursteel® Mn, a work hardening manganese steel, is particularly suitable for situations combining abrasion and repeated impacts. These grades provide a reliable solution for liners, skip bottoms and sides, as well as highly stressed bucket structures.
In addition, the Creusabro® range, with the 4800 and 8000 grades, offers superior performance thanks to its TRIP effect. It is recommended for areas where 400/450/500 HB steels reach their limits.
