Produr, Durable Solutions for Your Recycling Equipment
Recycling installations are subjected to intense mechanical stresses: abrasion, impacts, clogging, and occasional corrosion.
Exposed to heterogeneous material flows (metals, plastics, wood, rubble, glass, sludge…), your equipment wears quickly and often leads to unplanned shutdowns.
In this demanding environment, PRODUR supports you in securing your sorting and recovery lines by reinforcing critical areas and optimizing the service life of your components.
Enhanced Performance Against Abrasion, Impacts and Aggressive Flows
Recycling lines are subjected to intense wear: dry abrasion, repeated impacts, heterogeneous flows, and residual moisture.
PRODUR selects the most suitable materials for each critical area.
Duraplate®
Overlay plate for severe abrasion: high hardness, thermal resistance and easy integration (cutting, bending, welding). Ideal for liners exposed to a continuous abrasive flow.
Creusabro®
Delayed work hardening steel for impact and mixed wear areas. Hardens in service and offers a longer service life than 400/450/500 HB steels, while remaining easy to form.
Thanks to its field experience, PRODUR guides you toward the most effective material combination to improve the reliability of your sorting, crushing and recovery equipment.
Manufacture of Wear Parts for Recycling Industry
PRODUR provides its expertise in the manufacture of wear parts for recycling equipment, such as crusher hammers, grates, hopper liners, impact plates, shells, screens….
Our workshops manufacture your parts according to drawings, in the material suited to your specifications: abrasion resistant steel, overlay materials…. Each component is machined, cut, and fitted to meet the specific constraints of your line.
Wear Audit and Reliability Improvement of Your Recycling Equipment
At PRODUR, we intervene to reinforce your critical installations exposed to intense stresses: abrasion, impacts, clogging or localized wear.
Our approach consists of analyzing the origin of wear, identifying sensitive areas, and proposing technical solutions adapted to your production environment.
Our teams travel on site to carry out precise measurements using 3D scanning, an essential basis for reliable reverse engineering.
This step allows us to rebuild your parts, improve their geometry, and integrate higher-performance materials (overlay, high hardness, or composite materials).
Call on PRODUR to extend the service life of your crushing, sorting or conveying equipment, and secure your production rates in a demanding environment.
We turn your wear challenges into sustainable performance!
CASE STUDY
Reliability improvement of a cyclone cone
Subject to premature wear, a recycling cyclone cone was completely remanufactured by PRODUR in Duraplate® D31T (thk. 6+4 mm).
Thanks to its uniform weld beads, this overlay plate provides high resistance to direct abrasion and optimized installation. A robust solution to ensure long-term reliability of a critical area.
CASE STUDY
Manufacture of Crusher Hammers
Originally manufactured in 300 HB steel, the hammers of this crusher showed rapid wear when exposed to abrasive flows and repeated impacts.
They were replaced with components made from Creusabro® 4800, a delayed work hardening steel known for its resistance to combined abrasion and its ability to withstand impacts.
Result: doubled service life, consumption reduced by half, and up to 40% savings on the maintenance budget. Fewer replacements, fewer shutdowns, greater productivity.
CASE STUDY
Reliability improvement of a sorting cyclone
To limit helical wear and clogging in a glass sorting cyclone, PRODUR proposed a solution in DURSTEEL® 460, combined with a Durplast® S lining, a spray-applied anti-clogging elastomer.
This robust combination extends equipment service life, reduces cleaning operations, and integrates perfectly into existing lines.
CASE STUDY
Reliability improvement of a turbine volute
Facing rapid wear of a turbine volute in Hardox 450, PRODUR proposed a hybrid solution: sides in DURSTEEL® 410 and impact zone in DURAPLATE® D31T.
This material combination strengthens critical areas while controlling costs.
Result: extended service life and reduced maintenance operations.
